Preamble (Wstęp - Preambuła)

Hello, I am Dominik ‘Domcio’ (The diminutive of the name Dominik) Karol [Wolfgang] (From the Catholic Sacrament Of Confirmation, so it probably doesn’t really count, but it is still worth to mention this powerful name) Rajchel and I am currently 19 years old. I go to IT high school (technikum informatyczne). I have created for you this wonderful (I chose this adjective - “wonderful” as a reference to Louis Armstrong’s song “What A Wonderful World”) list - document of resources for learning - getting more experience with Polish language - I mainly dedicate it to foreigners who are looking for [re]sources to learn the Polish language, but also to my compatriots and aliens [and parrots] and not only for beginners or advanced people, this list is also useful for natives who are looking for new sources of education and entertainment in their language. I think this [POWERFUL] Polish is a really great language. Thanks to its flexibility you can create great compositions - poems etc. That’s why I would like to really help promote it. Personally, I am constantly expanding the number of known words for me, because it is a very useful thing in my life [of creator]. I learn English from the first grade of elementary school (Szkoła podstawowa) and German from the first grade of middle school (Gimnazjum), but I give less priority to German because it would only be useful for me to read Grimms’ Fairy Tales in the original language. At home, I learn mainly Japanese. In the future I am also going to learn other Slavic languages a bit more. The order of the links is mostly random. I add clean links, without any extra and referral code in URLs. Currently, I’m focusing on adding free and legal sources or those that also offer free legal content, so if something comes up here contrary to what I wrote a few words ago, report it to me, because I wouldn’t do such a thing on purpose, but just by accident (it doesn’t happen to me very often, I check the operation of the pages especially for you, I don’t put links here blindly). Maybe in the future I’ll also add categories with paid (also legal xD) services, but fortunately we live in such times that, thanks to the dedication of many people, we are able to learn from some awesome materials for 100% free. I hope that this version of my list is satisfactory. More than half a month has passed since its first publication and is now several times bigger. If you know any other good [free :D] websites related to Polish, feel free to let me know when a website has stopped distributing content fairly, please report it to me, also in case the website end its activity or changes the URL or project name or the page I added is now “really uncool”. I can often joke about some things - speak about them in a very chill way, but please do not take anything personally, because I do not do this to offend someone, I just want to add variety - more colors to that content. Wolne Lektury (Free readings) - A great source of ebooks and audiobooks and much more. The website interface supports many languages. A cool option available on this page is to generate custom PDFs of available works, where you can e.g. add or delete indexes etc.

- Aleksander Brückner - Mitologia słowiańska - A very interesting book on the mythology of ancient Slavs.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - Mały Książę - From the beginning of 2021 you can also read this very famous literary work on this platform.
- Dante Alighieri - Boska Komedia - “All hope abandon, ye who enter in!” - “The Divine Comedy” in Polish.
- Sofokles - Król Edyp - Another well-known cultural text written by famous Sophocles.
- Daniel Defoe - Robinson Crusoe - Polish version of the famous book about Robinson Crusoe.
- Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz - Znachor - A very interesting story, on the basis of which a very famous Polish movie of the same title was made (we can often watch repetitions of that movie on Polish TV).

- Official required school reading list (Oficjalna polska lista lektur szkolnych) - The official Polish government website with a list of the required school readings, which are sorted by school grade. The source of books for this site is the website above.
Epodreczniki.pl - Official website of the Polish Ministry of National Education with free textbooks for students, which are of course compatible with the basic curriculum. They are, of course, for various grades, for example here are Polish lessons for secondary schools and here are the music lessons for elementary school. There are also some materials for early schools. It’s worth checking because a lot of the lessons are pretty and recently I checked the chronology of the lessons on this website and this is more or less in line with my [second] school (in my case it is technikum), because the same topics are, but sometimes they have a slightly different chronology (it depends on the teacher, who can combine these topics differently, this is understandable). Surely this website will be useful for autodidacts who would like to learn more on their own in a given field and wouldn’t know where to start, then they could be inspired by the topics that occur and start learning them from this site or from other [type of] source.
Wikisource (Wikiźródła) - A brilliant source with a lot of famous literary texts. You can find there a lot of free texts to learn various things, also textbooks to learn a language and it is not difficult to find there some well-known cultural texts and there are a lot of Polish school readings here.
Chmura czytania - A website similar to Wolne Lektury, also contains a lot of books.
Federacja Bibliotek Cyfrowych (FBC) - This is the website of the Digital Libraries Federation with built-in a search engine connected to all available - supported - indexed online digital libraries etc. (Polona for example and Jagielońska Biblioteka Cyfrowa) Here we can also find a lot of interesting digitalized content, which now has a chance to reach more people - to survive longer in the form of a bytes. Here you can find sources that is, all links to pages of digital library projects. The website cooperates with the Europiana.
Polona - Here you can find many archival materials scanned in a very good quality. It is a very good source for learning history and experiencing the change of language over time (I will try to add interesting books In other categories from there, e.g. I have already added some here).
- Stanisław Lem’s Books - The year 2021 is the year of Stanisław Lem, so for this reason you can download some of his outstanding works fully legally from the Polona digital library.
- Bajarz polski: zbiór baśni, powieści i gawęd ludowych. T. 1, Bajarz polski: zbiór baśni, powieści i gawęd ludowych. T. 2, Bajarz polski: zbiór baśni, powieści i gawęd ludowych. T. 3, Bajarz polski: zbiór baśni, powieści i gawęd ludowych. T. 4 - “Polish Fairy Tales” (and more) listed by fabulist Antoni Józef Gliński. This is a collection of fairy tales and folk tales divided into four volumes.
- Wybór baśni - Hans Christian Andersen - Here in Polona’s archive you will find the most famous (in Poland) fairy tales written by Hans Christian Andersen. This is probably the latest available edition of this book, which is available on the platform. Here is more search results with works written by this author.
- Nowe baśnie z 1001 nocy - A very shortened version of the “One Thousand and One Nights” in which some of the most famous stories are presented. The book is also available at Wikisource.
- O takim, co rozumiał, jak dźwirzęta gwarzom (O takim, co rozumiał, co zwierzęta mówią - About a man who understood animal speech) - An old Polish fairy tale written in countryside village dialect from Województwo świętokrzyskie (Author was born in Nietulisko Duże) over a hundred years ago (More works by this author). It is such an interesting thing, for people who want to learn dialects (Sometimes they are very funny, because the sometimes words used in them are vulgar in the common use - common language).
- Polish magazines published in Polish (You can also choose other languages in the filters, I set up Polish for this) - A public mine of historical information, you can read here a lot of articles from the pre-war period and more.
Project Gutenberg - A worldwide project for the distribution of books for free, there are also books protected by copyright, but added with owner’s permission. Some countries [maybe] do not have access to this website, for example: you can’t visit it in Germany or with Germany IP because it is against German law - Explanation. The name of the project obviously refers to Johannes Gutenberg, who invented the printing method with movable type.

Lektorek - Website associated with University of Pittsburgh You will find here a lot of valuable documents related to learning Polish. For example, in the category First Year Polish > Lessons there are 12 lessons (as 12 PDF files) and also a supplement and a glossary. In “Other” you will also find a lot of interesting things, for example Polish song book, short stories and English-Polish phrasebook and more.
Otwórz Książkę - On this website you will find over 500 books for free. There are many books about history, cultural studies and sociology.
Baśnie braci Grimm - here you have free online multilingual version of the Grimms’ Fairy Tales. By default, you can read only in the selected language, but there is a option to read that way: on one side you have the first selected language and on the next side you have the second selected language, so for example you can set fairy tale “Cindrella” from Hungary (Hamupipőke) to Polish (Kopciuszek) or another example: “Rapunzel” from Japanese ( ラプンツェル) to Polish (Roszpunka). Here is the whole list of available fairy tales, that is 200 + 10 The children’s legends + 12 No longer included in the last edition. I have read the Polish edition, in which there were 210 of these stories in total. I recommend these tales to everyone, it is really great to read, regardless of age and mood. Especially since you can combine learning a particular language with nice and educational entertainment, because these fairy tales often have fantastic morals.
Ebooks from the government website of The Polish State Forests - You can find a lot of ebooks on forest-related things. in different formats here, most often in PDF format, but also, of course, in .epub and .mobi. Here, for example, you have a book on the art of photographing nature and about forest survival. A lot of people will certainly be interested in a book on forest recipes.
Wirtualne modelarstwo by Witold Jaworski - Ebooks about aircraft computer modeling (the programs that will be used are Blender, Gimp and Inkscape). If you ever wanted to learn how to model, then this guide may prove useful to you, although it is now, when I write it, intended for an older version of Blender, but in fact, the instructions relating to that version will also, of course, be able to be reproduced in the latest version of this software, only requiring a few moments more.

Fundamenty Treningu Siłowego - Source of book, so an online [not book] store - I gave a direct link, because the link from the site was shortened by a bit.ly url shortener) - The book was written by Michał ‘Saker’ Sakowski, who belongs to the WK (Warszawski Koks) team. It is about the foundations of strength training, as it is written in its name (MOBI format). This book can be mainly helpful for beginners who are interested in the subject, as well as for the intermediate (not only, of course).

Fantasy (Fantastyka)

Here you will find many available magazines, anthologies and individual stories, it is worth giving them a chance, because they are all prepared with passion and great efforts and most look really professional. I am sorry that I have described most of them so briefly. They really deserve to this subsubcategory, so that fans of this kind of literature can access it even more easily, it is really worth giving chances to a large part of them.

FantastykaPolska (Registration is required to download) - A wonderful collection of professionally written fantasy stories. The choice is big, so it is worth looking for something for yourself.
Legendy Polskie by Allegro - An anthology of many fantastic texts inspired by Polish legends. If you want to watch movies from the same series also inspired by Polish legends, I invite you here, they were excellently directed and there were also very nice covers of popular Polish songs from the old days created especially for them, for example “Kocham wolnosć” and “Jaskółka uwięziona”.
Fantazmaty - Many of very qualitative anthologies. The covers are also really well made.
Creatio Fantastica - A free “scientific literary” magazine. It is worth checking.
Magazyn Biały Kruk - A very interesting magazine about fantasy. Of course, You will find here many available publications.
Grabarz Polski - Archive of the horror fantasy magazine.
Magazyn Histeria - The second nice Polish horror magazine.
Smokopolitan - Next great magazine. There are dragons everywhere, waiting to be blown away by a fire composed of cool articles.
Historia Vita - Here you can download some fantasy anthologies, for example the first part of the anthology “Ostatni dzień pary” (The Last Day of the Steam). Second is available here.
Silmaris - Another good online magazine about fantasy and science fiction.

Programming (Programowanie)

Python na luzie - “Python on chillout” it’s a very nice and big guide to learning the Python programming language in Polish. This is a direct link to download the latest version (as of 22.09.2020). If you want to start your adventure with the world of programming and you don’t know which language to choose for the start, I personally recommend Python, because you can start this adventure in a very simple and quite relaxed way, but it is also worth trying to get to know other languages later, to have a kind of contrast and to be sure if this choice was fantastic, you can also know many programming languages and a lot of people do, but it is worth knowing one very well first, because then it is easier with others.
Free Programming Books Repository - The GitHub repository, which has been created by EbookFoundation, contains links to a huge number of 1000‰ free books - tutorials to learn programming in many languages and of course also in Polish. There are such programming languages as for example: Python, Java, C, C++, C# and also HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and many more. There are many links to WikiBooks, for example to the great “Zanurkuj w Pythonie” course or C++.
Polish Learn Python - Polish version of learnpython.org service, where you will find some cool Python basics lessons and some advanced ones.
Kurs HTML - A great free course in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, you will also find some XHTML, it complies with W3C standards and of course with the latest versions, such as HTML5.
how2html - Another noteworthy HTML (+ some CSS) course, which also has a very cool HTML dictionary. It - course contains 23 grouped lessons and the expected time to complete it is 30 hours (unfortunately, there are no major updates for a long time, for such a dictionary, for example).
Mozilla’s MDN Documentation and tutorials - Polish version of a great documentation created by Mozilla. It is extremely useful when you want to learn HTML, CSS or JavaScript (and more). It complements well with W3Schools, which has no official Polish language version (only, unfortunately, offers translation via Google Translate).
KursJS - Kurs JavaScript dla superbohaterów - Interesting “JavaScript course for superheroes”. It is quite extensive and certainly worth checking.
Mirosław Zelent’s Blog - An IT blog, where you will find very extensive tutorials to learn different languages programming and more. You can learn C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Boostrap from there. I also recommend to check the “Pasja Informatyki” channel, for which videos are being created by Mirosław Zelent, among others, I described it in more detail in this category.
Polish Code.org Courses - On this page you will find many cool coding courses - the basics of programming (after choosing Polish) in Polish, which were created to teach children coding.
Baltie 3 - A free Baltie 3 course, which is a software to help children learn programming. Baltie 4 is designed for secondarys schools. You can download the programs here.

The Bible translations - online and for download (Przekłady Bibli - online i do pobrania)

I will mention that currently the most popular polish translation of the Bible is “Biblia Tysiąclecia”. I dedicate the list of these biblical links to people who are interested in theology or bibliology, or simply like the thinking about religious topics. I personally like these religious topics very much, I used to read a lot of books about the beliefs of ancient peoples and, of course, various mythologies (I mainly remember the Greek and Nordic ones, because I often come across characters from these myths in various literary works, the faith of the old Slavs is also very interesting thing), I think that from this religious work you can also deduce a lot of good values - morals and a warnings, and also Polish culture is strongly connected with the Catholic religion, so it is worthwhile to take an interest in culture from the religious point of view, if someone is also interested in culture apart from Polish linguistics.

Biblie Polskie and (Archive.org’s mirror to The Wayback Machine) - A really cool website with a list of Bible translations into Polish. You will also find links to descriptions and often to download these translations (e.g. to archives, the site also has its own mirrors sometimes, so if you haven’t found your favourite translation here or want to know more, I invite you there).
Biblia Audio - A great project made by the “SUPERPRODUCTION” recording studio, where you can hear audiobooks of Old Testament and New Testament with the voices of popular Polish actors and also with great sound effects.
Biblia MP3 - The “Ancient” version of the “Biblia Audio” project.
Biblia info - A website where you can read many Polish translations of the Bible. The Latin translation “Biblia Vulgāta” and The Greek Old Testament - “Septuaginta” are also available.
Biblia online - A page similar to the above, you can compare verses on it in a very cool way.
Biblia - Edycja św. Pawła (Biblia Paulistów) - One of the recently created Polish Bible translation. Translation was made by her enthusiasts, with the help of Polish Paulists (Towarzystwo Świętego Pawła).

Lubimyczytać - Probably the most active Polish online virtual bookcase and book index. Very useful when we want to save what we have read. You can read reviews of others yourself or read other reviews, check ranking and more (My profile).
Biblionetka - good alternative and very similar to Lubimyczytać.
w.bibliotece.pl - Has less social functions, more old-school, but still cool.

Słownik języka polskiego - very good Polish dictionary, contains a lot of definitions.
Wielki słownik języka polskiego - a [great - huge] Polish dictionary, also contains a lot of definitions. It contains different varieties, phraseologies, etc.
Słownik języka polskiego PWN - Another noteworthy dictionary, which also contains interesting features, such as Puzzle, where you can test your knowledge of words and have some fun.
Encyklopedia PWN - Quite a big and cool encyclopedia.
Wikisłownik - Polish version of the Wiktionary. This allows you to immediately compare a given word with its translations in other languages, and you are also able to see what synonyms, anonyms, etymologies etc. it has.
Diki - Very nice English-Polish dictionary. Often there are also pictures of nouns. There is of course also support for IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet).
Korpusowy Polskiego Słownik Języka Migowego - Polish Sign Language Dictionary. If you are a deaf person or want to communicate with such, this is something for you. (Some people might consider deaf to be a politically incorrect term but it’s actually not - that’s what the community itself calls themselves and polish explanation of use).
Słownik slangu oraz mowy potocznej - A dictionary of slang and colloquial speech - street speech - If you would like to become head of many secret city organizations, this will surely be useful.
Synonim.NET - Online dictionary of Polish language synonyms.
Synonimy.pl - similar to above.
Zakończone.pl - On this page you can check the words with the selected ending. For example: -ówka.
Stopniowanie.net - Gradation of adjectives and adverbs.
Ortograf - A cool site where you can see common spelling mistakes, it also has a subpage with a spell checker (main link). Here you can read about the rules of spelling of the Polish language, at this link about “language doubts”, you will also find there, for example, dictations and abbreviations.
Reverso Context - A Polish version of a very useful multilingual website where you can look up translations in context of words, groups of words and idioms.
Cooljugator - Cool Polish Verb Conjugator - A [very] cool conjugator containing a large number of verbs.
Tiengos - An interesting website (In the link there is a setting that sets the default to show articles in Polish) where you can read various articles (There are many articles available for free), e.g. in Polish, and there is an main option to switch between languages (Vietnamese, Spanish and Russian are available now, including English of course), you can also listen to the text in audio form and the words read by the lector at a specific moment will be spotlighted, you can also listen to the word you clicked on and much more. The site also has its official application for Android.
Declinator - A very cool online tool for noun declination. The page is affiliated to the above website.
Linguee - A good alternative to the above page. It is related to DeepL - it comes from the same authors.
LanguageTool - Great multilingual spelling and grammar checker. Useful if you are still not very good at using the comma character in Polish, but it is not perfect, sometimes it may find the necessary comma unnecessary and vice versa (also, this tool does not always handle dialects and archaisms well).
Youglish - brilliant website for improving pronunciation and more. As the authors write, there are millions of entries with tracks in the index, after entering a word that interests us, the search engine tries to find a video on YouTube (based on subtitles) in which it is used. (Word “pingwin” for example).
Lekarski Poradnik Językowy (LPJ) - The online medical language guide has been in existence for over 22 years. You will find a lot of cool articles on it - subpages, for example with a certain grammatical rule with a comma. It is an interesting old-school source of linguistic knowledge.
Słownik neologizmów poetyckich - An online dictionary, in which you will find many Polish poetry [master]pieces, and in them you will have the neologisms highlighted. Here you will find all available neologisms on the website sorted by alphabetical order and by epochs and parts of speech.
Narodowy Fotokorpus Języka Polskiego - A very interesting website where you can type a word or part of a word into the search engine and the search results are scanned works where the words you are looking for will be highlighted - cool if you want to know an example of using a word or part of it. Here is an example: “ciasto”.
Słownik terminów anatomicznych - Polish-English and Polish-Latin (and various combinations of these) dictionary of anatomical terms. There is also a mobile version for Android.
Elektroniczny słownik języka polskiego XVII i XVIII wieku - Fantastic online dictionary of Polish language of the 17th and 18th century.
Słownik polszczyzny XVI wieku - A dictionary of Polish language from the XVI century. If you would like to sound like a great nobleman, then thanks to knowing these words you will be closer to achieving this.
Słownik staropolski - The Old Polish dictionary, a lot of archaic words, will come in handy if you are going to travel in time and communicate with older Polish people.
Słownik staropolski IJP PAN - Here you can download many volumes of the Old Polish dictionary and other documents related to the project. The site belongs to the Cracow Old Polish language studio.
Słownik polsko – potocznoludowy niektórych roślin i chwastów - [Small] dictionary of Polish - colloquials of some plants and weeds.
Gwara góralska - Polish highlander dialect. It may be useful if you are going to Zakopane (Here you will find more regional dialects).
Gwara więzienna - A set of words used in prison colloquial speech. It certainly won’t come in handy, but it’s a cool curiosity and after getting to know these words you can show people that you are able to get along with every layer of society.

Translators (Tłumacze)

Hello world! I also thought that some of you will want to learn other languages through Polish or just my countrymen looking for cool sources may find something they missed earlier. Of course, I will try not to list here again the multilingual pages that are already lower on this list, because there is no need to make too many duplicates, but sometimes I can make an exception. Unfortunately, not for every language someone has published some sets of learning materials for free, so sometimes there may just be a lot of dictionaries here, I try to do research (on different search engines), but I often come across multilingual services, not focused mainly on a particular language or paid courses. I want share here a great amount of free and legal downloadable materials - for offline learning, because we live in the Internet times, but it is always worth having learning materials on disk to be able to look at them at any time - also many years later, and unfortunately, many websites are often run as hobby sites and may stop functioning with time, and there are for example The Wayback Machine from Archive.org, but sometimes there are some larger files attached to the sites, which unfortunately are not always archived and are simply lost. By the way, here you have a link to Github with links to download a excellent addon - “Save to the Wayback Machine”, which allows you to easily save pages to the web archive. If you would like to create a mirror of a website, then I also recommend a very simple HTTrack program or WGET for more advanced users. It is also possible to download from The Wayback Machine using this script - gem (Installation is really easy, just have Ruby installed and enter some commands in CMD according to the instructions) for Ruby programming language (Ruby installer for Windows). So if you have ever created a website in the past, but you don’t have its backup files, maybe some good person once made a backup copy of your website and you will be able to download it using this script and continue working on it because this script is downloading clean files, as if you were trying to download it directly through a copy from the archive, then e.g. such .html file will have a lot of additional links and redirections to the archive pages, not the original ones.

Digital Dialects - Polish - On this multilingual website you can learn for example Polish numbers, clothes, names of fruits, vegetables, animals and colors, etc. It is possible to set the speed of reading words.
50LANGUAGES - Free lessons for beginners in different languages. From what I have noticed, there are 100 lessons available in each language. You can have the words in MP3 format compressed into a .zip archive. There is a very interesting option where you can choose from which language you want to learn, I set the link from English to Polish and then there are e.g. MP3 with English words with Polish translation.
loecsen - A website similar to the above, also offers a huge number of languages.
aztekium - Another webpage where you can choose which language you want to learn from is the translation of words from the second language into the first.
LinGo Play - Yes, the site is also similar to the above, very nice visually.

Why did I add it here? It is an constructed language, which is called, among other “Medžuslovjanski”, which uses both the Latin alphabet and the Cyrillic script. Słownik znaków japońskich - Electronic dictionary offering translation of about 2200 Japanese characters (kanji). The author of the blog decided to publish a dictionary - „Słownik znaków japońskich” in the form of a blog (the list of keys and kanji characters is available for download in PDF format), the copyrights to which have already expired according to him (So Bogusław Nowak, author of the book himself). The paper version of that dictionary has 1945 characters and the digital version, as I wrote earlier, contains about 2200. These are characters approved by the Japanese Ministry of Education. Pingwin Mroźny

Pingwin Mroźny (Penguin Frosty) - This is a character created by me (Pingwin - first name and Mroźny - surname). The mascot of my main channel and artistic activity. I created a whole Universe around him. Each “typical” episode is intended to introduce the viewer to some kind of profession (the core of the Penguin’s movements themselves refers to the video Wonsz żeczny (humorous record of correct form “wąż rzeczny”), which is still present in Poland or was present in the old times - “extinct professions” and sometimes there were references to historical characters, I also invented some of my own professions. A lot of people will ask “Why?”, at that time my head was like a locomotive from which the steam flew all the time, so I wanted to find my way to “express myself artistically” and eventually I did it in this form, but I tried very hard, so these are not the kind of movies you would think if you look at them out of context. I also started to promote this kind of “pseudo-animation”, which I personally called “dead animation”. In other movies forms, a revolution began to take place, just like in Antic Theater - more [voice] actors (synthesizer voices) began to arrive. I am most pleased with the series “Przygody Pingwinbada Żeglarza” (The name refers to: “Przygody Sindbada Żeglarza” by Bolesław Leśmian and it’s wordplay) “Pingwinia Komedia” (The name refers to: “Boska Komedia” - Polish translation of “Divine Comedy” by Dante Alighieri). and from the first episode of the “Danse Pingvinabre” (The name refers to the medieval Danse Macabre) series. I wanted to include this long description (and I created a separate subcategory) in this list as “the main reward of my work”, because I want to leave some remembrance and awareness in people to remember my works and also to open the door to potential cooperation and job.

I like to add those channels that do not have exaggerate with the absurdity of thumbnails and titles - clickbaits. I want to make it as easy as possible to retrieve information from the videos on this site without wasting your time on “one million fillers” included in today’s typical YouTube videos focused on massive marketing. Of course, it is not always possible to “escape” from this, so sometimes people who want to reach a larger audience want to adapt to the “standards of popularization of content” in this way. In the future I will add more categories and channels here, but first I want to focus on those already created, so as not to create categories with a small number of recommended channels. Forgive me for describing some great channels so short, because most of them deserve a few times more description. Here you have quite a large list of some Polish YouTubers with profiles created for them with descriptions.

The Polish Language by Langfocus - Great video showing Polish language from many different sides. Its history is shown, including of course the structure of the language structure and much more.
Ecolinguist - “Connecting people through languages” - One of the best linguistic channels on the whole YouTube. The main content creator is Polish Norbert Wierzbicki. There are often videos where there is a meeting through video conversation of people from different countries who try to understand each other using their native language with a similar origin - the same roots to the language used by other guests. Slavic language appears very often. Here for example, there is a very popular video in which a Pole, Bulgarian and Croatian try to understand the Interslavic language used by their friend (Here an Norbert’s interview with the main creator of the Interslavic language itself). A very cool option if you want to learn between languages, your language will probably be on the channel. For those who like English, here is a video in which an Englishman speaks Old English and a Pole - Norbert, Australian and American try to understand it.
Wiedza z wami - A great channel dedicated to learning for the Polish language matura exam. Here you will find many detailed studies of the school readings, as well as all sorts of guides related to the correct writing of various exam assignments. There is also a special YouTube channel for elementary school: Wiedza z wami podstawówka.
Course of Polish - There are a lot of “words of the day” here, and then the speaker shows the sentences in which these words can be used - context.
SAY IT IN POLISH - Nice channel about “saying it” (some more complex message) in Polish. And not only that, it is also worthwhile to look through older videos.
Playlist of Polish alphabet and pronunciation video series in English by Tiengos - If you still have problems pronouncing - reading many Polish diacritics and more - then this playlist probably can help you. A Spanish version is also available.
Easy Polish - Very nice channel for learning Polish (Polish version of Easy Languages), you will find here many interesting videos on individual topics, for example about the meaning of the word “no” in Polish. There are also videos with street interviews (Like that) - On the banner on “mother channel” of the project is written “Learn languages from the streets!” and here a lot of videos under this principle are created. The channel was created not long ago, but there is already a lot of interesting material on it, so it’s really worth checking.
Polish Flower - Polish Language with Maggie - The Maggie YouTube channel, where she publishes a video about learning Polish through various methods, is really a lot of valuable information there.
AnAnglo Polish for foreigners - The channel is aimed at beginner Polish language students. The creator of the channel has over twenty years of experience in teaching this language.
Język w rok - An interesting YouTube channel about language learning, so also of course about polyglotism.
One Minute Polish - Playlist with short - briefly videos - lessons of Polish language by the creators of the multilingual channel “Coffe Break Languages”.
ItsEwelina - Ewlina’s YouTube channel, where you can find her many interesting and useful Polish language lessons.
your. polish - Michalina’s cool YouTube channel (She has a very good English accent) about the Polish language. Among other, there is the topic of words used in slang and she explains them. There is also often language advice - here, for example, a video in which she talks about mistakes’ sometime made by foreigners talking to Poles (Especially to those older Poles who remember those very hard times for Poland, because there is big a chance that they lived in them).
Polski z Anią - Good channel about parts of speech, conjugation and times and much more. Currently, the project has been [maybe temporarily] paused (Explanation).
LEARN POLISH WITH DAREK - Another [also paused :/] interesting channel about Polish. Very cool option for people who want to learn words while listening, because there are a lot of such materials.
PolishPod101 - Very active and professional channel. There is a huge number of videos and 24/7 livestreaming for learning.
LEARN POLISH with Maria Christou - YouTube channel of a Polish language teacher, translator and blogger.
Polish For You - YouTube channel of two friends - Justyna and Karolina, who have been teaching Polish for over 15 years. The videos are often really long, so you can learn a lot from them.
Learn Polish with films and songs - Magda’s YouTube channel - a professional English teacher. She shares her knowledge about the language there, recently a lot of podcasts have appeared.
Learn Polish [Fun Kids Learn] - The Playlist for learning Polish is mainly for children, but is also ideal for beginners. It will certainly be useful in learning the basics.
Teach me Polish - On this YouTube channel you will find some videos about learning the language, mainly it is a basic level of difficulty.
Niklaus Pieron - The channel of Mikołaj, who often talks about things related to the Silesian language and culture (On the subject of the ślůnsko godka, I recommend listening to the Silesian version of “Grosza daj Wieźminowi” - “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher”).
Mówiąc Inaczej - great and very popular YouTube channel about “How to speak Polish correctly”.
Arlena Witt - A channel to learn English, but of course you can also use a magic trick and learn Polish from it.
Fifty na Pol - Kasia Mecinski’s YouTube channel, where she talks about Polish and American topics - she is an American of Polish origin. She is a close friend of Krzysztof Gonciarz and also lives in Japan. In the past they together used to create (now inactive) YouTube channel “TheUwagaPies”.
Dave z Ameryki - A very well-known Polish-American channel, where Dave often talks about various subjects concerning Poland and the Polish language itself, as well as frequent mistakes made by Poles learning Polish.
Trev - Trevor’s - Tadeusz’s (Polish-American) YouTube channel, which also talking about cultural differences and more.

Astrofaza - A really nice channel about cosmos.
emce□ - Another channel dedicated to science, also very respected, has a lot of topics on it.

Uwaga! Naukowy Bełkot - Another Polish respected scientific channel, where various topics are often discussed in the form of long videos. Also worth checking the subchannel Wyłącznie Naukowy Bełkot .
SciFun - One of the most popular Polish scientific channels. The subject of his recent video is checking various things under the microscope, but in a “normal way” and not hyperbolized. He also made a serious analysis of the “theory that the Earth is flat”.
Kasia Gandor - Another interesting channel to popularize science.
NaukowoTV - Next cool channel about learning.
Astronarium - A channel about space - astronomy and Polish scientists related to this subject.
Pod Mikroskopem - A channel where detailed discussions on many scientific topics appear.

Culinary (Kulinarne)

Kocham Gotować - One of the first most popular YouTube channels about cooking in Poland. He is very famous for its welcome: “Siemanko! Witam w mojej kuchni” and also from showing how to recreate a very well-known product at home, e.g. fries from a well-known fast food restaurant etc. then it is worth to check out his older videos.
Uwaga Babcia Gotuje - YouTube channel, where the titular grandmother cooks. In Poland the so-called “grandma cuisine” is very respected.
Ola Nguyen - An interesting culinary channel. She - cook person won one of the Polish MasterChef editions. Recently, for example, she has shown how to cook some well-known dishes for cartoons and animated movies (Ratatuille from Disney’s Ratatuille).
Robert Makłowicz - The official YouTube channel of the very famous Polish chef Robert Makłowicz, also known as “Bezwzględny Gonzales” (hehe). His program was aired on TV and was very popular. He probably likes bathing in cold water very much.
[Pascal Brodnicki - A very famous French chef of Polish origin, once very often appeared on TV (like some other famous chefs), now runs his own YouTube channel.
Kuchnia Kwasiora KK - You can find a lot of different recipes here. For example, a guide to making zakwas buraczany (very useful for people who, like me, do not drink alcohol, but are actors and would like to play a scene of drinking ancient wine).
Tomasz Strzelczyk ODDASZFARTUCHA - A very popular Polish culinary channel. You can see that the author has a great passion for cooking.
The Food Emperor - This is a very interesting culinary channel, but beware, this cook very often speaks Polish vulgar language. Of course this is combined with dynamic music and tone - the expression of the chef’s voice, so it gives a high style and of course it is also a comedy element. He also publishes versions of videos in Italian. This is a unique channel.
Czajnikowy.pl - dobra herbata! - Very good channel about tea, but also about coffee created by experts.
Menu Dorotki - Another interesting culinary YouTube channel, where you will find many recipes.
Tomasz Lach - Tomek’s YouTube Channel, where he has many guides for preparing baked goods from the oven, such as breads, rolls and of course pizzas.
KuchniaLidla.pl - Polish YouTube channel dedicated to cooking created by German Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG. The videos feature famous cooks such as for example Karol Okrasa.
Crazy Home Production - The best Polish YouTube channel about testing [really, really] spicy sauces and other things related to capsaicin and much more, so this is a super channel for chiliheads. This channel can be very very useful for people who want to buy some sauce, because the world of spicy sauces is quite large. The guys in the series “Wyzwanie Ostrości” regularly create a ranking of sauces, which you can download from the link in the video description of this series, which is in the form of an XLSX file.

Historical (Historyczne)

History Hiking - The presenter in this program in a very reliable and professional way tells the viewers about various historical events in a very interesting and accessible way. The quality of materials is excellent and they are created with visible care. So it is really worth giving this channel a chance.
Historia bez cenzury - The historical channel, where the main anchorman - Wojciech Drewniak presents history in a cool, eccentric and humorous way. There is also an English version, but after three videos this project has been stopped.
Historia w 5 minut - The historical channel, which is called “History in 5 minutes”, but videos don’t always have the title five minutes, because the main purpose of the channel is to convey historical knowledge briefly, but without omitting important facts.
IrytującyHistoryk - “Irritating Historian”, a historical channel focusing very frequently on topics that do not appear too often.
ThrashingMadPL - A historical channel, where knowledge is taught by means of cool visualization - maps with dynamic changes - with moving hand-drawn historical units etc.

Cultural (Kulturalne)

mietczynski - The person who recording videos for this YouTube channel is mainly known among Polish youth for humorous and simple summary of the various required school readings. He talks about them by adding more of his colorful metaphors and opinions, so he simply talks about the plot in an unconventional and accessible way, so it helps many people to remember the course of these books, which is often useful on all school “smaller” and “main” exams (I personally am neutral to this, but I add this channel objectively, because I know that many people like it for different reasons). He also reviews movies similarly and he also often tries to cook something - he verifies his culinary skills based on trying to cook dishes from popular recipes.
Polimaty - Very interesting channel about nice life topics (yes, it’s worth to check it). It is also one of the best Polish podcasts. Actually, these are now “Polimaty 2.0”, because the form of the program had a huge transformation some time ago and is not the same as at the beginning of the channel, it’s worth to compare the current one with the previous one (both are cool in my opinion).
Krzysztof Gonciarz - YouTube channel of the Polish traveler Krzysztof Gonciarz, he lived in Japan for many years. He also worked as a journalist in the game industry (GRY-OnLine] a long time ago and he wrote several books. He had many “metamorphoses of his public characters”. - At this link you can find sample video from the TVGRYpl channel, in the creation of which, among other, he participated. You may notice that also Marcin Łukański from a cool channel about movies, that is “Na gałęzi” appears on this video.
MaturaToBzdura.TV - Translating literally: “Matura is nonsense”. The main concept of this YouTube program is to ask people (those who will agree to appear in the video, of course) about the things that are the “basics of basics” in Polish school education and simply such knowledge necessary for conscious life in our world - planet (for now, hehe, wait for us, Cosmos!). Often the questions are tricky and unfortunately people fall for them and it is possible that under the influence of stress their critical thinking temporarily decreases. An example of such a question is: “How is it said correctly: Slovakia (Słowacja) or Slovenia (Słowenia)?”, and people hear more often about Slovakia (because it is closer to Poland, among other) and they wrongly think that since the question was asked, either of the two options is incorrect, obviously not everyone answers incorrectly. Another example is another such question as clear as day: “‘On whose side did the Americans fight in the Battle of Grunwald?” - this battle happened on July 15, 1410 (Poland vs State of the Teutonic Order and we KO’ed them - here you can find all participants), so it is [practically] impossible for Americans to take part in it in any way, but it is precisely the people who too often think about two variants (terribly 0 or 1 thinking when both can still be right or none or another variant). Of course, here I don’t make fun of these people, because as I say, among other, the stress that they appear in front of the camera and probably their friends will watch this video makes their thoughts a bit confused in a lot of cases. Here, you can watch, for example, a video about the knowledge of school readings by Poles.

Music (Muzyczne)

Live Act - One of the best Polish sources of knowledge about music production and theory. There are a few podcasts, which are a mine of knowledge for [not only new] music producers. Piotrek - the creator of the channel, he also touched upon psychological issues related to the creation of music, such as how to deal with creative blockades and which DAW is “the best for start” (I personally recommend FL Studio to start with or Audacity or MuseScore and LMMS). So if you want to learn more about music (techniques, many cool tricks, world of producers and schemes and free plugins - VSTs etc.), then I really recommend it.
GOSIA SACAŁA TRENER GŁOSU - YouTube channel of voice trainer Gosia Sacała. In the videos she likes to evaluate in great detail the performances of various artists.
Studio Accantus - A project associating brilliant vocalists, who together perform e.g. covers of great famous Polish songs, often from animated fairy tales. It is worth to watch - listen to those performances, because they are in really good quality.
CeZik - Currently, unfortunately, already inactive CeZik’s YouTube channel. He really created a lot of very creative music videos. In 2018, he released his album entitled “Ambiwalnięty” (This is neologism: a combination of words: “ambiwalentny” and “walnięty”, which you can listen to on his channel (this is of course the full version of the album). It is really worthwhile to listen to the song entitled “Jestem specem” which tells the story in music form that a lot of Poles usually think that “they know everything - they know every profession” (this is often true and a great plus for Poles that they want to know “about everything”). He also created the second, also in the past (and now often people return with nostalgia to the video from the old days) very popular YouTube channel “KlejNuty”, on which he “glued notes together” (the name of the channel is literally “GlueNotes” and sounds similar to the Polish word “klejnoty” (jewels), it is often said that “something is a jewel”, which means something brilliant - worth a lot, but not from this material side), i.e. he simply created songs (not exactly such remixes, only more songs, but it could also be called remixes nowadays) from words - discussion - statements of famous people. He is also known to have published on the aforementioned channel the video “A Pole in the Britain’s Got Talent”, which is simply a adaptation - parody and the unoriginal soundtrack was combined - mixed with the original video track which made many people think that this video is entirely original and that this man was Pole (maybe he really was - some Polish roots, but the performance itself was in English). Recently he has been more involved in the “NutkoSfera” YouTube channel with lots of different songs for children.
Jacek Tomkowicz - YouTube channel mainly about songs from various generations. On his channel you will find, among others, the series “Tego się słuchało”, which is a video series about the songs listened (in Poland) to in specific years - for example in the 1980. There are also episodes of EXTRA (for example, again this year 1980) from this series and there are songs that the viewers have suggested that were missing in the main episode. Another interesting series that you can find on this channel is the series “Gdzieś to już słyszałem” in which are presented such songs (or parts of them) that are very similar to those songs that were created a long (or a little) time ago.

Books (Książki)

Strefa Czytacza - Really cool YouTube channel about books and reviews of them. I found him a long time ago, but I haven’t looked there for a long time, it’s a pity, fortunately by creating this list, my memory on channel has returned.
Book Reviews by Anita - Anita’s channel, where she reviews books.
Doktor Book - Nikola’s channel, who is passionate about reading books and also enjoys reviewing them.
Zaksiążkowane - On this channel you can meet “Zaksiążkowane” who love to collect books and share updates of these collections.
Bestselerki - The channel of successive book lovers, that is Marta Gajewska and Anna Bartłomiejczyk. They actively run the title series “Bestsellers”, in which video reviews of various books appear.

Cryminology and criminalistics (Kryminologia i kryminalistyka)

Karolina Anna - Here you will find a lot of video about many mysterious criminal cases.
Paweł Rosa - Sprawy Kryminalne - On this YouTube channel there are archived livestreams about (currently mainly Polish) people accused (and legally convicted) of committing [many] crimes. They are conducted in a cool and reliable way (based on many verified sources).
Stanowo.com - Another very cool YouTube channel about crimes. This is not only a channel about criminal cases (here’ link to the playlist with the video series “Kryminalne”), but also about pop culture and the United States.
Niediegetyczne - Marcin Myszka - There is a lot of video about various criminal cases. You will find here also a series “Niepokojące miesiąca” in which the disturbing events that occurred during the month are presented. The creator of the channel also runs his own podcast named Kryminatorium about crimes. It is one of the most popular podcasts in Poland.
Przesłuchania Morderców - The creator of this YouTube channel “translates and analyzes recordings from real police interrogations of criminals” (these are mainly American cases).

Wojna Idei - A channel about psychological, philosophical, sociological and cultural issues - ideas. Author - Szymon talks in a very accessible way about various problems of today’s world, as well as about the political system, etc. There is also an English version. He also runs a second channel: Szymon mówi, for example, he has long conversations with people with different political orientations, which is very interesting and rare, because it allows us to learn the views of different people, because often people close themselves in so-called “filter bubble” and do not want to learn new information from “these other sites” - to give a chance to convince themselves of some things (I do not mainly mean political views - politics in general).
Nie wiem, ale się dowiem - “I don’t know, but I’ll find out.”, that YouTube channel also raises a lot of problems of today’s world. This channel also has videos created in a very accessible form, so it helps with the main purpose - education - to make people understand certain things better. Projects such as this one and others deal with topics that sometimes do not have [mainly] a place or time in the Polish education system or are presented in a very “empty” way - too poor to be remembered and above all understood by [mainly young] students.

Menroth - A very interesting YouTube channel about computer games sociological and theological issues. Currently, there are published videos related to the world (lore) of Gothic game series. For example: [Sociological analysis of factions in Gothic 1

Człowiek Absurdalny - “important questions about life, philosophy, psychology, literature”. Here, also, we can learn interesting things and again have reflections on various topics.
Klocuch - Mr. Cuch’s YouTube channel. This is one of the legends of Polish YouTube, which shares its opinions on various topics in a very unconventional way, and you should not take things that he says personally, because all these words are said in a joke or some philosophical aspect (he often refers to things related to the childhood of many Poles). I also add it here because he speaks a very diverse language - he uses words from many dialects and loan words (a lot of German origin).

Comedy (Komediowe)

Zapytaj Beczkę - A stricte comedy Krzysztof Gonciarz’s YouTube Channel. He laughs (in caricatured - cartoonish way) at various specific social phenomena and human behavior in his videos.
Z Dvpy - Maciej Dąbrowski’s YouTube Channel. He among others: creates quite specific videos about various cultural works, he reviews cities, he creates parodic dubbings and song covers and he also refers to recent events in Poland and in the world and he comments “the Polish YouTube scene”. (there is a noticeable policy here and he sometimes likes to share his point of view, but does not do so in a very intrusive way, I think that it is worth having your opinion own and have a calm mind - think clear-headedly).
Lekko Stronniczy - The YouTube channel, which is created by Włodek Markowicz and Karol Paciorek (The order of the names was taken from the YouTube channel description, as if someone would like to ask about it), they have been publishing videos (there’s a new video every day) about current affairs since 2011 (there was a few year break, which ended over a year ago). They often talk about it in a humorous way, but they also know how to maintain the seriousness of the situation if it requires it. Karol Paciorek has his podcast channel which is called “Imponderabilia”, where he invites many very famous Polish people. Podcasts are known for the fact that some of them last really many hours and there are no unnecessary cuts (mainly in general, the assembly consists of changing the camera and colors). It is also worth adding in the subject of this channel that Karol had interviews with the candidates for the Polish President in Presidential Election [2020]. Here you have a playlist in which you can watch all the interviews with [almost all] candidates, including the current and previous Polish President. Włodek Markowicz also has his own YouTube channel and is very famous for his movie “Dots” (Polish, English, Spanish, Russian and German subtitles are available).
Pawelandbajer - YouTube channel, where its creator every day publishes a video with a kind of joke called [in slang] “suchar” (literally: rusk), but in the sense of a [positive] synonym for “żart” and “dowcip” and “kawał”. So if you like this type of humor and you really like it when you have [like to listen simple] jokes in your life, then it is worth checking this channel.

Games (Gry)

TVGRYpl -The most popular Polish YouTube channel dedicated to computer games. They have already created videos on many game-related topics (On the subchannel TVGRYplus there is news etc.). Some of their team also run a very interesting Gospoda RPG channel, where they play “classic Role-playing games (RPG)”, i.e. those without electricity - using dices and those with the game master (GM).
Staszek iGRAszkowski - Very cool channel with gameplays of various games with nice commentary. So if you are looking for someone who records games and adds his cool commentary and doesn’t without a lot of unnecessary things, this is a good choice because his videos are in nice quality.
quaz9 - The biggest Polish dinosaur of computer game reviews. He has been running his channel for over 10 years and his reviews still hold a huge level - he shares his opinions in a very interesting form.
Broda ty - Second Polish “dinosaur of computer games reviews”. His videos are really qualitative. He describes his experiences with the game - reviews in a very interesting way, he is not afraid to criticize them constructively and speaks brief and to the point.
arhn.eu - Great channel dedicated to gaming enthusiasts, especially for those who like the theme of retro games, because it often appears here, game reviews appearing on the channel are also cool. The creators of the channel also made a very good documentary film about the creation of the computer version of Wiedźmin (The Witcher) - Biały Wilk: Historia komputerowego Wiedźmina (White Wolf: The History of the Computer Witcher).It is also worth to look at the subchannel arhn2eu - arhn.eu po godzinach.
NRGeek - Another interesting channel related to the subject of computer games. He publishes an interesting and funny video series entitled “Zagrajmy w crapa (Najgorsze gry wg NRGeeka)”.
ZagrajnikTV - The channel presenting computer games in a very cool form - editing and the atmosphere of the videos are very interesting.

Chess (Szachy)

Marianczello Dominoni - A wonderful YouTube channel from a chess enthusiast for chess enthusiasts. The videos are created in a really cool and interesting way, which is able to interest people who may not be very familiar with chess at all (this is probably the best Polish YouTube channel about chess in my opinion).
DawidCzerwTV - FM (Fide Master) Dawid Czerw’s YouTube channel. You will find a lot of cool chess tutorials. He is also the man who took part in preparing the Polish version of chess tutorials on Chess.com (lessons about the most important game basics are available for free and I highly recommend them).
Pan Szachuś - Chess player Krzysztof ‘Szachuś’ Budrewicz’s YouTube channel where you can watch many interesting movies about chess, often with analysis of chess games.
Szachowo - Unfortunately for many years there is an inactive YouTube channel where you can find many cool chess lessons in Polish language.
Szkoła szachowa Szach Mistrz Maciej Sroczyński - The YouTube channel of the Szach chess school, which is run by FM (Fide Master) Maciej Srończyński.
Polski Związek Szachowy - The official channel of the Polish Chess Union.

Movies (Filmy)

Grupa Filmowa Darwin (G.F. Darwin) - A film group making really great movies. With its latest movies it refers to the problems affecting today’s [especially Polish] society. The main popularity of this YouTube channel has been brought by movies from the “Wielkie Konflikty” series, as well as a parody of the song “Will You Be There” by Michael Jackson entitled “Orki z Majorki” (About [oceanic] orcas (killer whale) from Mallorca).
Martin Stankiewicz - The channel of a movie director, who has been dealing with it since childhood and was already successful at that time - a certain youth newspaper wrote about it. Cezary Pazura - The YouTube channel of the famous Polish actor Cezary Pazura, the channel’s subject are of course movies and things related to them, often “Wujek Czarek”, as the actor wants it to be called, talks about the backstage of some famous movies and also tells anecdotes from his life as actor, also from his school days.
SztywnyPatyk - A channel with interesting movie reviews, its creator also contributes sometimes to the TvFilmy.
Na Gałęzi - Another channel dedicated to movies, there is a lot of humor here.
Artur Kinomaniak Pietras - A channel created by an expert with huge experience in film reviews.
Brody z Kosmosu - Channel with very interesting movie reviews.
Sfilmowani - Next channel about reviewing films.
Galeria Horroru - YouTube channel about [reviewing] horror movies and other things related to the horror subject.
TvFilmy - An interesting channel about movies. It is created by part of the team from TVGRYpl.

Japanese Culture and Popculture (Japońska kultura oraz popkultura)

Ignacy z Japonii - Very cool channel of a Japanese man named Kohei, who records videos under the pseudonym “Ignacy” (Explanation). The channel might be useful for people from Japan who would like to learn Polish and more, because “Ignacy” was a free listener in Polish studies at the Uniwersytet Śląski in Katowice, as he himself wrote in the description of the channel. He explains very interesting issues, refutes myths and stereotypes related to Japan or Japanese, which people spread unconsciously in Poland (and not only here).
Janusz z Japonii [Kotaro Hisada] - The channel of another Japanese man who speaks Polish really well (He lived in Poland for 4 years in total). Recently he has been publishing a lot of videos from his expeditions - he has the soul of a traveler, on which he talks about things there, for example Kinkakuji temple. He also talks about language issues, of course, and often talks about what he was doing in Polish, and made an interesting video about one of the frequent mistakes made by beginner Japanese people learning Polish.
Aiko & Emil - The channel of a very nice marriage - Japanese woman Aiko and the Polish man Emil. They form a very powerful duo and their videos are very interesting. We can learn from them many of their opinions about Japan and Poland, as well as video about unique topics, for example video about Ainu people and really cool video about their traditional Japanese wedding. There is also a video about “mythical Japanese square watermelon”. It is also worthwhile to have a look at the separate Emil channel - Podcast Po Japonii and as the name says it is a podcast about Japanese things, often here are further conversations of those shown on Aiko & Emil channel. Emil also has another channel about North Korea, to which he often went on tours in the past and it’s called Pozdro z KRLD.
Enma Official - YouTube channel of Polish woman who has lived in Japan since 2015, she is also a Graduate of Japanese Philology. She really likes do cosplay also. She very often refutes the false information and myths about Japan that are really often spread in popular media.
NanoKarrin - A Polish group creating covers of well-known songs. They are also created short parodies of some anime productions.
Spychu91 Anime - Announcements of new anime production and information from “that world”. So if someone has already watched many productions and doesn’t know what to watch, then maybe something of the [hypothetical] promising new series will interest him.

Mathematical and Information Technology (Matematyczne i informatyczne)

Tomasz Gwiazda - Very well known online math teacher. He has several hundred videos published on his channel. It is mainly mathematics at elementary school level and no longer existing gymnasium (gimnazjum) in Poland. When I went to school, it was 6 primary classes (and a sixth-grade graduation exam) and it was three years of middle school (and a gymnasium exam), even before the first grade of the elementary school, that I went to “zerówka” (0 class) - Here you can read more about stages of education in Poland - in English or preferably in Polish (also worth checking out here).
MATMAG.pl - The YouTube channel for learning mathematics - mainly targeted to parents who would like to teach their children mathematics in a quite accessible [more] graphic way. Here you can find the project website.
Matemaks - Next very cool channel to improve mathematical skills. Here you will learn mathematical knowledge at secondary school level - the knowledge necessary to pass the Polish Matura exam in mathematics. Website of this math course.
Pasja Informatyki - Marvelous YouTube channel about computer science and related things. From here you can learn, among others, the basics of C++ programming language (“Programming in C++. A course from scratch, for everyone”) in a very cool way and also you can see what knowledge is needed to pass exams for the Polish occupational title “IT Technician” (“Technik Informatyk”). I am in the last class and already I passed one exam splited into theoretical part and practical part - EE.08 and in a few months, I’ll be passing also splited into theoretical part and practical part - EE.09 - after passing all parts of both exams you can finish school with this title. Here is the official Mirosław Zelent website, where you can find videos from this nice channel, course materials, recommended [paid] books, link to the Pasja Informatyki forum and much more.

Kuba Klawiter - A very cool YouTube channel, which Kuba Klawiter and his team describe news from the world of technology, there are also reviews and the Tech Week program is published regularly.
Mobzilla - ests and reviews of most popular phones. There is also a review of my favorite and owned phone-camera - Nokia Lumia 1020 (I bought earlier this year 64 GB edition with nice yellow color).
TechLipton - The technological channel mainly about computers - about their components - so of course benchmarks appear also.
ZMASLO - Also a channel about computer technology, but here the videos are even more varied - there are many experiments with components, so with hardware and software.
blackwhite TV - Another YouTube channel about computer technology.

De-Kompozytor - Very cool YouTube channel, where the channel creator deals with decomposition of electronic equipment and its repair (there is a series in which he repairs his viewers’ electronic equipment).
Adam Śmiałek - On this channel you will learn a lot about technological equipment from the past. Audiophiles and musicology learners will find here a lot of videos about music equipment (the author shows in detail how the equipment works in terms of sound quality - among others, he shows the spectrum and analyzes it).
RedaktorSzumu - A channel combining the features of the above YouTube channels, worth checking out if you are, among other, interested in repairing music equipment.

For children and youth (Dla dzieci i młodzieży)

Of course it is such a simplification and many of the contents of the links below will probably interest people of different ages.

Nauka. To lubię Junior - A version (subchannel) of the YouTube popular science channel Nauka. To lubię created especially for children. Among other, there is a video about “how to rear (make) a crystal” and it shows a guide to an experiment that I myself remember from the early years of primary school. There is also a video about color mixing and the creator of the channel also announced that a lot of animated videos are to appear on this channel in the future (surely one such animated series about human).
Studio FIlmów Rysunkowych - The official YouTube channel of Studio Filmów Rysunkowych. They created many cartoons for children such as “Reksio” and “Bolek i Lolek” and a brilliant cartoon series “Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki” (Unofficial playlist, because on the official playlist the films are not arranged chronologically). All these productions, including animated full-length movies can be watched for free and legally on their channel. Currently, there are also videos of drawing characters from their production. These are cult productions that were part of many people’s childhood (The same as the Czech “Krtek”) and “Pat a Mat” and “O loupežníku Rumcajsovi”).
Studio Miniatur Filmowych - The official YouTube channel of “Studio Miniatur Filmowych” - Another great studio that created such great productions as “Dziwne przygody Koziołka Matołka” and “Pomysłowy Dobromir”.
Polskie Super Kids - official German Studio100 Media AG producer YouTube channel. You can find there, for example, full episodes of the wonderful anime “Pszczółka Maja” (This from 1975), which is known to many [old and young] Poles, and a song from the opening credits which has been sung by the great singer - late Zbigniew Wodecki is also well known.
Peppa Pig Polski - Kanał Oficjalny - official Polish Peppa Pig (Świnka Peppa) YouTube channel, where you will find many episodes with her.
Marta Mówi [Martha Speaks] - WildBrain - official producer channel, where are many full episodes of the animated series for children “Marta mówi”.
Nickelodeon Polska - The official Nickelodeon Poland channel, for example, if you want to watch some episodes of SpongeBob in Polish, then I have good news for you, because there are obviously a lot of episodes of this animated series.
Cartoon Network Polska - The official Cartoon Network Poland channel. You will find here (Over 200 full episodes of the various series), for example, many episodes of Ben 10 (new and old, I have watched this old one a lot and really liked this series). My Youtube playlist entilted “The best Polish songs - The core of Polish music” - I have created a playlist of songs that are memorable, also a part of the Polish culture, conversations of Poles include often many jokes - references to them. I update it from time to time as soon as I have a “marathon of listening to music”. So that’s the playlist of “core songs of Poland” (But there’s not much Disco Polo here anyway, I keep it to a minimum because it’s still a subjective playlist, and I’m already bored with this genre and I think then that it’s mostly “homogenous”). I’m also interested in Polish music from different times, so you’ll find some older songs there, I’m also trying to add the best quality versions (official uploads) to the playlist, not uploaded by “a third party uploader” in very poor and even more compressed quality.

Great78 - Polish collections from The Great 78 Project, where the local community make preservation, research and discovery 78 rpm records, which are very old vinyl records, so it’s a great source to listen to old Polish songs and see what the language and style of the melody sounded like at the time, a really cool thing, I’d like more projects of this kind to be on this list, not just websites that aren’t eternal, here you can download these songs (they’re in FLAC format) and listen them on your favorite device. There are usually several versions available in one archive file, i.e. versions with extra settings and the original version without any additional settings.

Wolne Lektury - I mentioned Wolne Lektury earlier in the list, but it’s worth mentioning here that they have a huge collection of audiobooks.
Radiobook - Project of Polish Radio Music Agency, thanks to which you can listen to many well-known books, for example “Przedwiośnie”, via YouTube.
Audioteka - The official YouTube channel of Audioteka, you will find a lot of audiobooks to listen here, of course, as you can guess, often only parts of the books are available to encourage you to buy them, but it is in very fair form - the videos have many minutes.
Polska-poezja.pl - An interesting website where you can find Polish poems and listen to them in a audio form.
Kocham czytać - “I love to read,” that is Jacek Kozłowski’s YouTube channel, where he has been reading poems for over three years and also he reads a book entitled “Pan Tadeusz” and “Anhelli” and also the Bible - Gospel of Matthew from the New Testament - translation made by Polish Jesuit Jakub Wujek - The Wujek Bible.
Darmowe audiobooki - A YouTube channel where a certain mister reads books that are available in the public domain. If anyone would like to listen to something less studio-ish - more natural, it’s definitely worth checking out, such as the [full] Pinocchio audiobook.
Bajkowy tata - Audiobooks for children, which “can be downloaded and listened to for free, without restrictions”.

Song lyrics (Teksty piosenek)

Tekstowo - one of the currently most popular Polish websites offering lyrics to songs. Transcriptions are created by users. You will need it if you want to learn a language by listening to songs, because you will be able, for example, to listen and read at the same time or you can try to write down what you heard and then check the lyrics of the song to see if it is correct, it is certainly a nice method and quite mind friendly and not boring in my opinion.
Groove - Another option, there are a lot of song interpretations and, of course, the subtitles themselves, so this will come in handy if we want to understand the deeper meaning of the tracks. Sometimes you have to do some research anyway to find out what song had the true message, especially in case of old Polish songs, like those from the 80s. If you haven’t found the meaning of a song, write to me, then I’ll try to help you interpret it by helping you know the history of those times and knowing the people who lived then, because I’m from 2001, so hehehe, but I still have a lot of knowledge in that topic and I also got to know (my parents told me a lot about it) a part of the biographies of the local music artists, which can be useful in this regard.

Biblioteka nut - Stare melodie - A really huge and wonderful library of notes of old Polish melodies, which you can download as a PDF file. I really like the animations on the site and its style. Well done, author. More about the website - project.
Śpiewnik Wywroty - lyrics of Polish and foreign songs and “the biggest Polish Wiki-Songbook created by guitarists for guitarists!”, so of course you will find here the guitar tabs.
Taby na harmonijkę - list of many taboos for the harmonica. A really cool website, I learned on it e.g. intro song from “Pat a Mat”.
Forum Harmoszka (Archive version) - A very cool forum with tabs for the harmonica. I, for example, used this forum to learn how to play “Hejnał mariacki”. I gave a link to the archive version of the forum, because it did not work for me personally, maybe some technical work is in progress. As far as the choice of instrument to play is concerned, I recommend the piano [keyboard] (king of instruments), but if you want something even simpler and very mobile, the harmonica and kazoo (a totally easy to play instrument) will also be cool.
Musicscore - A great collection of music sheets, in which you can also find Polish songs. You can also download their official free and professional software to: “create, play and print sheet music”- I personally really recommend it.

Games (Gry)

Helltaker - (Available on the Steam platform) A very [globally] popular and free fantastic Polish adventure and logic game [+ some dating elements] with very interesting graphics and unique characters. Not only Japanese pop culture fans will like it. The creator of the game has also created a separate official Polish translation, which you can download here and here are the installation instructions. It is also possible to find several other translations created by the community, such as Spanish translation.
Janosik - Very cool Polish computer game available for download for free on the Steam platform (Three languages are currently available: Polish, English and Slovak). The game contains elements known from games of “metroidvania” type. The main goal of the game’s plot is to save Janosik’s comrades who have been kidnapped and imprisoned. The title of the game and the main character itself refers to Juraj Jánošík, who was a famous Slovak highwayman. A long time ago in Poland a famous TV series with the same name as the game was created. According to the author, it takes about 2 hours to complete the game. It is worth to look for hidden places with treasure.
Otchłań - Poland’s largest online text-based SUD (RPG) game. “The beginnings of the Otchłań date back to 1998, when two teenagers, interested in MUDs, decided to write something “like MUD, but for one person”, as the authors write at the beginning of the description (There is a version for Windows, Linux and DOS). Here is the official project forum. It is really worth testing this game. There is also quite an interesting interview with one of the game developers.
GRY-OnLine - The largest Polish portal dedicated to games. It has a fairly active community and a database of games with ratings. So if you are looking for some Polish game, you should find a page with it here.
Bractwo Spolszczenia - A web portal dedicated to polishing modifications and translations to Gothic, recently a very good dubbing for production is being created. Gothic is a cult game for many Poles, so it is worthwhile to get to know the sites associated with it. Recently, many great Polish professional moderation projects have been created, e.g. “History of Khorinis”. This will be the unofficial prequel of the Gothic I game. The voices of the characters are from very popular voice actors, and documentary films about these actors have been made as part of the project, so it is worth watching them on the project’s official YouTube channel. Another big project worth mentioning is the still being created mod “Myrtana Chronicles” (A lot of great Gothic mods have been created for many years, so when they come out, there will be a lot of them to play).
theModders -A web portal dedicated to creating and modifying games (currently mainly Gothic series).
Spine Mod Manager - I will also mention a German program - a mod manager named Spine, which also supports Polish language and mods for Gothic and Gothic II (With “Night of the Raven” extension of course, so Gold Edition).
Graj Po Polsku - A nice website with great quality Polish translations for many computer games.

Browser games (Gry przeglądarkowe)

Kurnik.pl - A site with many of games on a multiplayer such as chess, checkers and “Mensch ärgere Dich nicht” - “Man, Don’t Get Angry”, which is called “Chińczyk” in Polish (This game is practically identical to “Ludo”, but it is not the same) and the site itself has a lot of active players, so you don’t have to wait alone in the lobby for a long time.

Anki - Powerful flashcards’ tool. A great way to learn a language. It requires regularity, as is usually the case with learning something, but in a more simple and accessible way. The great inter-universal science committee found this to be one of the very good ideas.

- AnkiMobile Flashcards - Anki for iOS.
- subs2srs - Great tool for creating flashcards from subtitles to your favorite movies and TV shows. Very useful.
Balabolka - A free software (text-to-speech engine) for reading out text with a speech synthesizer. It can be useful to someone (FAQ. Many years ago a very good [paid] Polish IVONA’s speech synthesizer was very popular, a few years ago Amazon bought this company.
Duolingo (Android) and for iOS. If someone is curious, then the version on Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Mobile 10 still works, only this version on Windows 8.1 has fewer courses available, but still an interesting thing, but e.g. there is no Japanese course there, I personally use it to improve my English skill, it will always come in handy, especially many people can be surprised seeing the descriptions from this list, but calmly, I will improve it in the future and the future will come soon.
Słownik angielskiego Diki - Application of the authors of the website diki.pl. It is a great Polish-English dictionary. Of course, an iOS version is also available.

Services (Serwisy)

Clozemaster - Also a very nice service for learning Polish [in context]. Currently there is support to learning Polish via: English, French, German, Hungarian, Portuguese and Russian. The free version has a few limitations, but it’s still okay and very useful, Pro version [among others] has more statistics, unlimited listening practice and downloadable content for mobile.
Duolingo - Practically everyone knows this wonderful service, which mascot is a green bird named Duo (just be careful and do regular lessons, then he doesn’t get upset, it’s very important, don’t forget about your course, hehe). A Polish language course for English speakers is supported there (US, but people who know the UK version and others will understand as well). I have rewritten every English language course out of curiosity, but I mainly learn Japanese and Czech there (You can follow my profile, if you want to watch my progress on the platform, I recently returned to more active use of it). I used to be in the top league in the ranking, but now I’ve fallen by the lack of activity. Also, recently there was an option to learn Finnish, which I was interested in, and probably in 2020 there will be another available language to learn, this is a nice thing for people interested in other languages.
10fastfingers - On this website you can practice the speed of typing on your keyboard, also with [200 most popular] Polish words (or 1000 most popular words version), so if you want to practice the use of diacritics, you should definitely use something like that. You can also participate in typing competitions on time. My personal best record, I think I can do this ~120 WPM for the moment with my actual keyboard.
VerbCards - A new, but promising, completely free service that helps you learn a language using cards (currently only English - Polish option available).
Quizlet - something like Anki, but online and much more, so it’s worth checking it out.
Quzizz - A page with quizzes. There are a lot of quizzes created by teachers for their [mostly young] students, so it’s a good option to repeat different things for example from the basics of grammar and so on.

Culinary (Kulinaria)

“Kucharz doskonały” - A wonderful collection of books, prints and manuscripts created by the Polish National Library. There are over 140 books by famous authors (in those days). They are mostly written in a language very similar to today’s, and often also include words less commonly used today (but not archaisms), a lot of interesting recipes can be found there and of course you can download it all for free and probably without any major limits (maybe there is a limit, but with an attempt to download a huge amount). If you have a large amount of potatoes, it will probably be worthwhile to check the recipes from the book “200 potraw z ziemniaków” (200 dishes from potatoes). Such a number of dishes should make you not be hungry for a long time.
Cookbooks (And more books) by Lucyna Ćwierczakiewiczowa - This author has written many cool books about cooking, on Polona you will find several of them in many editions. They are written in a pretty cool language. In the above link you will of course also find her works.
Lista przepisów kulinarnych Mateusza Koniecznego - Here you will find the GitHub repository, where for many years now, really different recipes of this user appear. The author gives their sources in text files with recipes, many of them come from him and his family. He also actively improves and updates (among others, makes corrections) some of them.
33 proven uses of chocolate in dishes - If you like chocolate, this is something for you.
Jadłonomia - A very cool website with “vegan recipes not only for vegans” (don’t be afraid, I am a vegetarian myself, but I don’t want to force convert you to vegetarianism, but often thanks to the dishes associated with this diet - vegan and vegetarian, you can discover a lot of new taste sensations).
Olga Smile - Very interesting culinary blog. Here you will find dishes from various diets, for carnivores, vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free for people with coeliac disease (Or for people who just don’t like gluten).
Kulinarne Szaleństwa Margarytki - A very cool blog about cooking. Here you can find many interesting and unique recipes.
Moje Wypieki - “the sweetest recipe blog on the web”. If you love sweet and beautiful looking cakes, then the recipes from this site can be very useful for you.
Whiteplate - An interesting page where you can find a lot of recipes for baking rolls and bread. If you are a baker, it is worth to be inspired by such baked goods to make yourself better and better, because good bread is never bad.
IleWazy.pl - A large base of products and their calorific value, fat, protein, etc. There is no need to be paranoid, but if you exercise, for example, it is worth knowing how much any food contains protein.
Czytamy Etykiety - website with analysis of food labels. Recipes for holidays and festivities (Przepisy na święta i uroczystości)

- Valentine’s Day - (The same can happen in the days of a girl[friend] and a boy[friend]). On the occasion of that day, people give themselves handmade cakes, self-made cards or anonymous letters (in some schools, students go with such a box, where you can anonymously throw a letter to someone and then it is delivered to the addressee, it is such a way of secretly professing your feelings. At least it was possible in my early youth - a few years ago xD). I personally consider this holiday to be purely commercial (“holidays” of this kind can turn true feelings into a “product”), I think that if you really love someone, you can more often do such “private Valentine’s Day”, but I already think that doing something like that by yourself is more valuable than spending large sums of money on some mascots, which can also be a lovely gift, but would be even greater if there was an attempt to sew them yourself. This also increases the inner emptiness of loneliness of some people when they see an idealized image of couples buying each other’s gifts, and some forget that they can also give gifts to their best friends or family on that day, because love is not only reserved for humans in very close relationships - in the end, it all comes down to spending time together, so just enjoy the moments with those you have at that moment, and don’t regret the lack of moments with people you don’t have at that moment (I know these are such truistic words and this is a heavy and complex subject).
- Easter - (In Poland it is not customary to invite ostriches for Easter, it is the ostriches themselves who have to ask for the invitation, vampires do the same). This holiday is recognized as the most important Christian holiday (Not bad explanation). I like winter, but this holiday is more fun for me because I like eating armoracia rusticana (I look forward to the moment when I can try the true and fresh wasabi).It is also believed in some regions that at that time, “Zajączek” brings gifts, just like “Święty Mikołaj” on the Christmas time (Main Polish Easter Traditions and this is very useful also). This holiday may be a bit terrible for vegans, but here, too, it is mainly about symbolism - metaphors, so you can simply prepare alternative dishes and spend the time in the same way, because it is not really about food, which is often mentioned in this category. Religious (and not just them) people go to church in the morning with a basket (about święconka) of food to be consecrated by the priest. On the occasion of Easter in Poland, eggs are decorated to make “pisanki”. (When it comes to such preparation of ornamental things, this holiday contains a lot of this, because seven days before Easter, that is, on Palm Sunday, the so-called Easter Palms, there are often competitions for which palm is the largest).

- Christmas - During this period, personally, I like to eat the łazanki z makiem very much. A lot of carols are also sung. It is a religious holiday, like most people, but it is worth being aware that it is a part of Polish culture and it is not only reserved for Catholics and Christmas Eve can be attended by anyone. (There is also a pumpkin holiday that is celebrated in the USA and some people want to celebrate in Poland, but it is really rated very 50/50 in Poland, some people think it’s nothing bad - just fun, other Poles think that this holiday does not fit into our Polish - Slavic culture and has been forcibly brought from abroad for commercial purposes, I personally don’t mind this holiday, but I also think that the latter opinion is really reasonable and it’s just “some kind of event” and those who play it shouldn’t require the Poles to take part in it too. The day after 31 is quite a sad day, that is All Saints’ Day for us such a Halloween once was an event called “Dziady” (Here you can read more about it).

Krwiod@wcy.org (Honorowe krwiodawstwo i krwiolecznictwo) - A page with information on how to prepare for the blood donation process in Poland. There is also a survey which must be completed before each donation (Now, during coronavirus, an additional questionnaire must also be filled in before entering the waiting room etc.). This is a really helpful thing about the subject, and it is also a wonderful action, which is voluntary blood donation.
Fundacja DKMS - On this page you can learn about the bone marrow donation process and you can register as a donor or give dotation (this also applies to people from other countries, because the foundation has many branches).

My nice tips (Moje świetne wskazówki)

In Polish, there is such a thing that some sentences can be shortened. For example, instead of saying: “Jesteś mądry” [masculinum -y] or “Jesteś mądra” [in femininum “a” instead of “y”] (You are smart), you can tell: “Mądryś” or “Mądraś” (Yes, -ś from jesteś) or “Jesteś odważny” or “Jesteś odważna” (You are brave) = “Odważnyś” or “Odważnaś” or “Jesteś miły” or “Jesteś miła” (You are nice) = “Miłyś” or “Miłaś”. If you want to become a knight or lady, it may come in handy to you, because it sounds a bit archaic, but I always remember that it’s a cool thing, so I created this category to share such cool things with you.
The word “spoko” (comes from the word: “spokojnie” - calmly) is a very useful and universal word. You can use it instead of “Nie ma za co” (You’re welcome) and also “Nie ma problemu” (No problem), so when, for example, a neighbor apologizes to you that his piano fell out of his window into your garden, you can tell him: “Spoko”. You can say that you like something, e.g. “Ten film jest spoko” (“This movie is cool”). It is from many years a very popular word, so even the older ones will understand. Of course, it can be used to, for example, soothe someone nervous - “Spoko, wszystko będzie w porządku” (Chill, everything will be fine). Or you can confirm something with this word e.g. someone asks you if you want to go to the cinema, then if you want to, you say “Spoko” (“Yes” in this case). So, if you are afraid to use the word “w porządku” and you still use “okay/okey(/okej)”, then “spoko” can be a cool alternative for you. Of course, it’s a slang word, so if you use it during a “serious conversation”, someone might get the impression that you’re a “relaxed kind of human”, although that’s good, because at least they will know you’re an honest man.
If you want to sound more like noble or just poetic (elevated/high style of speech), for example you can change the words (pronouns) “moim” (moje) to “mym” (me) and “twoim” (twoje) to “twym” (twe) and more (Also check here and HIER). So if you’re wearing daily a monocle and a cylinder, it’s something absolutely necessary for you, don’t forget also to take your own tea set [and also you should have a large stock of [matricaria chamomilla in your inventory] with a gilded cup (In general, this can sound a bit old-fashioned, but it’s one of the cool ways to “color” your speech in Polish - sometimes one snowman from a certain cartoon talked in this style, so if you’ve watched this cartoon about a helpful green dragon, you’ll know who was it).
If you want to call (define) a person who likes something with a simple noun, you can do so by adding the ending (yes, yes - sufiks) -olub (or -olubka in femininum). For example a person who likes pasta = makaronolub or, for example, a person who likes locomotives = lokomotywolub and yet a person who likes images = “obrazolub”. It is a bit “synthetic” and may sound funny, so use it rather for such “chill conversations”, then implement it in your everyday language, because, there are already [more “professional”] dictionary terms for people who like something like “audiofil” (audiophile) and its synonym: meloman (music lover and the suffix -man itself, that is from the word “mania”, so it means a person who has a mania at some point, so a person who’s maniacally eating broccoli (brokuł - Brassica oleracea L. var. italica Plenck) is “brokułoman” or “brokułomaniak” with -maniak). I would just add that you can also do the same with the ending -fil, but there are also a lot of words to describe people with very bad tendencies (with various disorders) and you know what I mean. That is why the creation of words with this ending would be badly associated with some bad things. By the way, I would also like to take this opportunity to say that if, for example, we would like to define a human-like creatures, then we can do it by adding the ending -lud, e.g. a frog (żaba) with legs and hands and behaving like a human - żabolud or also you can use the ending -człek, then żaboczłek or another example of “human + elephant (słoń)” - słoniolud/słonioczłek (There is a very popular word in Polish - “ufolud” and the diminutive of this word - “ufoludek” and it means “alien”). I will add, finally, that if we want to define a person who eats (she or he or it has a lot of this food in diet) something, for example watermelons (arbuzy - Citrullus vulgaris), then we can add the ending -jad and then such a person will be called arubozojad or with sufiks -żerca, then “arbuzożerca” or jabłkojad/jabłkożerca (apple-eating creature). Creatures with a plant-based diet = roślinożercy and those with a diet in which there is meat = mięsożercy, then for example, “dinozaury roślinożerne” (herbivorous dinosaurs) and dinozaury mięsożerne (carnivorous dinosaurs). So you can say in joke that vegetarians and vegans are: “roślinożerni/roślinożercami”.
I mentioned to you earlier the use of the word “spoko”. I will now tell you about another very useful and universal word (it comes from colloquial speech), the word “lipa” (Literally means “lipa” - Tilia - Linden or Lime tree). It is a word that means something not entirely cool or just a failure to do something etc. For example, someone may ask: “Byłeś już w tej kręgielni, która została niedawno otwarta?” (Have you been to this bowling alley that was recently opened?) and someone can answer: “Tak, totalna lipa” (Yes, totally uncool). So, as you can see, this is the complete opposite of the [positive] word “spoko”. Another example: “Czy udało ci się przejść ten poziom w tej nowej grze?” (Have you managed to pass this level in this new game?) and answer: “Nie, nadal lipa” (No, still not successful). You can also use this as a “statement - shout of sad” - “Co za lipa!” (Such a shame!) or alternative “Ale lipa!” (For example, when you lack a small amount of money to buy something or when just a small moment before you arrived at the bus stop, the bus you wanted to go with, drove off right before your eyes and now you have to wait 30 minutes for another one). One more example to conclude: “Jak smakuje ci ten dziwny owoc?” (How does this strange fruit taste to you?) and answer: “Lipnie” (Poorly - It’s an adverb of this specific use “lipa”, normally, it would be correct to say “lipowe”, for example “lipowa herbata” - linden tea). If you want to use this example in the plural, it would be, for example “Lipne jedzenie” (Poor food). That is the next word kind of: everyone, regardless of their age, will understand the word, because it is quite often used by people from different parts of the country (Wooden people will probably never use it in their entire lives, although Pinocchio would be happy to use it, but it is not about him).
Ahoy, Mateys! If you’re bored of being a landlubber (szczur lądowy) and you want to become a seadog (wilk morski) or just would like to talk like a buccaneer during International Talk Like a Pirate Day, which takes place on September 19 each yearrr, or something like that, these tips will help you, yo ho ho. Before I really begin, remember that an eye patch will add authenticity and allow you to get more into character, if you don’t have one you can also try to squint one of your eyes, then ye’ll look very menacing. Example sentence in the normal way: “O nie! Zapomniałem o nastawieniu budzika i zaspałem.” (“Oh no! I forgot to set my alarm clock and overslept.”), and now in a pirate way: “Do kroćset! Zapomniałem o nastawieniu budzika, niech to dunder świśnie!” (“Hell! I forgot to set my alarm clock and overslept, blast it!”). As you can see, it’s a good idea to add more pirate exclamations, I added one at the end because there was already one at the beginning. Ye should also add “arrr” (or with more “r” added or less amount) wherever you can, such as at the beginning of a sentence: “Arrrr! Jaki piękny mamy dzisiaj dzień, do kroćset!” (“Arrrr! What a fabulously beautiful day we have today!”), here is an example with a pirate “r” accent: “Pewna papuga arrra miała mieszkanie o wielkości jednego arrra” (“One arrra parrrot had an apartment the size of one arre”). This is how you should greet your [not only Czech] friends: “Ahoj! Jak się masz, kamracie? Arrr!” (“Ahoy! How are you, hearty? Arrr!”). Avast, If you are a pirate abstainer, you can drink tea with lemon (or powerful Polish kompot) instead of grog and rum. When you want to nod, say out loud: “Aj, aj” (“Aye, aye!”), but if you say it too quietly, that’s when you give a sign that something hurts. An example of being surprised: “Niech mnie kule biją! Przecież to ten słynny wannolot!” (“Holy buckets! This is the famous bathfly!”). If you want to offend someone in a pirate way (but only in jest, be nice to your fellow man), you can say: “Arrr! 6obcy - Website for talking to strangers from different regions of Poland and abroad. You can meet many interesting people here, but you can also find a lot of “suspicious people”, so be careful. (M - mężczyzna - male, K - kobieta - female, so at the beginning of the conversation, when someone writes “K”, it means that she says she is a woman, it’s a pattern that often occurs, or e.g. M20 = a man who is 20 years old, for some people it’s just something like a dating chat.
Nonsensopedia - A parody of Wikipedia in Polish and as the name itself says, it is full of nonsense (The equivalent of English Uncyclopedia). Sometimes you can find hilarious articles (So stupid, applause for the creativity of their author, then it could make you laugh) here, especially in those areas that we are very interested in and familiar with. There is certainly a lot of ‘difficult humor’ here, so it is rather for people with a specific sense of humor.

My others projects (Moje inne projekty)

My YouTube Channel - On which channel I mainly focus on making movies with Pingwin Mroźny. Nowadays, due to technical problems - weak hardware, which often has problems with video rendering (it just really takes away my motivation, I will have to go back to some older film editing software or some other free alternative), I rarely upload movies, there was a year when practically every day a video appeared, so it is a huge decrease in activity.
My Wattpad - On which I write from time to time some poems on various topics, you can also find here my short story “Pingwin Mroźny: Preludium” and “Baśnie dla każdego stworzenia i nie tylko” (Fairy tales for every creature and not only) which is a collection of my various fairy tales, there are not many of them there yet, but I already have a lot of ideas for more in my notes, so it is only a matter of finding time and writing it.
The best PC software list (Or something like this) - Coming soon. This will be a great software list, for example: The best music player for Windows: Foobar2000 etc.
My text-based computer game that I am writing, while learning another programming language, will probably want to publish it as a GitHub repository, but I don’t know if I have enough time to continue this programming adventure with this particular language - Python. I’m already learning several languages at school, and soon - at the end of the school semester - I’ll have the last two exams (before the final high school graduation exam), so when I’m done with them, I’ll probably come back to this topic, I’d also like to learn how to create music (I’m planning to take some piano lessons in the future, when I have some money, because I could use this ability to create melodies from nothing). I would also like to write some poems etc. and make more movies with Pingwin Mroźny, so the queue of what I want to do is colossal and I often change these “creative sides of life” ((from video to writing, from writing to music, from music to programming and this loop is repeated infinity times ∞) when it comes to working on something.

Lorem ipsum. To jest taka ciekawostka. Nie chciałem, żeby w dniu publikacji ostatnią kategorią była „pechowa trzynasta kategoria”, więc dodałem tę - wtedy jako czternastą. Oczywiście to takie nawiązanie do [m.in.] polskich zabobonów, może też i jakiś czarny kot się tutaj kiedyś pojawi.

Birthday - publication of the project is: 18.09.2020, and its first non-public version was created two weeks earlier, so in the first days of September.
